The majority of Buendia’s shots came from outside the penalty area. That would be a slight red flag for me, but that’s coachable.
This season Buendia has taken a lot more shots from inside the penalty area and as a result has scored more goals.
Look at his heat map from the 2019/20 season and be educated on what he was tasked to do maybe?? Lmaooo

I have Emi at around .58 key passes/through balls per match which is impressive, KDB was at around .65 lmaooo please understand what u are saying before posting also he doesn’t really shoot very much for a forward player as I said because he’s not, he’s a creative player. KDB shot a lot more about 3 times as much with the same shot accuracy…soo I dunno who said he was taking a lot of shots, but it wasn’t me and it’s not true either.
13 goals from 100 shots translates much better than 1 goal from 40.

When I compared cantwell and buendia shots you said different roles, I’m saying he’s taking alot of shots for someone who isn’t meant to shoot, the same amount as the other winger who is apparently meant to shoot more or whatever bull you were implying.

Also 25% of Buendia’s shots were fk’s, and only about 10% of KDB’s shots were from fk’s, so once again Emi wasn’t tasked to be scoring goals he was tasked at Norwich to create chances which he did in a terrible team who couldn’t manage to score many of the chances he set up. Oh and also have a bunch of defensive duties on top of that. Emi had 4.1 interceptions plus tackles per match and KDB only had 2.1 (the actual number is lower but adjusted for the inflation of the possession that’s where it lands)
So once again, to clarify, I would want Emi to play as a creative player here if we were to buy him a hybrid 8/10 similar to what Grealish does not be closer to what KDB is like a true old school 10. As I’ve been saying since last season, if you actually watch the player he’s got all the skills to do just that.
Once again, this all means zero without context and by reading ur comments all you’ve shown today is that you don’t watch these guys play. Cantwell is a forward player, he is tasked by the Norwich manager to make runs into the box, Emi is tasked to provide these forward players the ball. Cantwells average shot on goal was from 15 yards out, so he’s living in the penalty area. Buendia’s were an average of 22 yards out which like I said a majority were from free kicks.
Stats are really useful when u can pair them up with the eye test and u can understand their context by watching matches. In ur case I’d avoid using stats to try and prove ur point if ur not watching the matches my dood
So he’s wasteful with his shots and 9 big chances created in a whole season means the quality of his chances are poor.
