Alexander Isak

I love Musiala as a footballer, but not sure he solves our problem of killer instinct. I want him AND a striker. Jesus and Trossard can both move on, respectfully. Easy to say in hindsight but I was really keen on Ivan Toney joining us. He’d have been a brilliant option this season.

Either of the Swedish forwards would be brilliant signings but Gyokeres seems a shoe in for United and Isak will cost over 100m.

Musiala with minutes to go before Dortmund was about to end Bayern’s Bundesliga reign:

Dude was a game changer at 20. Just this past summer at 21 he was head and shoulders Germany’s best player.
This innovation is something we’re lacking, especially from the left.

Can you imagine having to defend Saka on one side and Musiala from the other. Imagine all the space that will open up, and we have a certain someone who loves to exploit that.

I rate Musiala more than most, but if we had to choose a striker or a creative spark - I’m going goalscorer.

Would love Musiala here though.

I know a lot of people like him… But how realistic it is for us to get a young german Bayern star?

He wants to leave or something? There must something there, otherwise it’s almost as realistic as getting Vini from Madrid.

I’d like either Isak or Musiala. Gyökeres is a very good nr 9 no doubt and has an eye for goal. He’s improved his build up and now even contributes with a few assists. Isak and Musiala however, they have the whole package. Vision, touch, goal threat and can operate from the wings too. They just suite our playing style better then Gyökeres and can contribute more.

His contract is expiring in 2026 and so far there hasn’t been any breakthrough in their negotiations.

If that is still the case next summer, it is an opportunity we should pursue.
Would be tough for sure but certainly not impossible.

Please stop posting indykaila. He is literally the most unreliable account you could post

I dont quite see why Isak is a better option than Gyökeres, he isn’t near complete a striker.

Currently his hold up play, robustness, pressing etc all leave much to be desired

Gyokeres would be cheaper also…if people think that Newcastle (a club that could set fire to hundreds of millions and not notice) would even think of letting him go without choking the other club out they gotta be nuts.

And what if he doesn’t? Does @Bl1nk get banned? :henry:

Can’t be banned. I can do whatever I want

You can always critic his website

We need a top quality striker so Gyokeres fits the bill and has a lot more to his game than just goals.
Although Isaak has PL experience and is a top quality striker, his injury record is not something we need from a player that’s going cost similar to what we paid for Rice.

Once. Maybe.

In comparison to Gyökeres I disagree. Besides, I believe Arteta prefers a more mobile attacker that can play the false 9. In this case Isak has the edge over Gyökeres imo.

Outside of goal scoring I don’t think Isak does so much and doesn’t tick enough boxes

Tbh I don’t think Arteta wants that and like I mentioned he is not near Gyökeres in some key areas particularly when it comes to the dirty work side of the game.

Gyökeres is the superior player.
