Incompetent refereeing. He doesnât punish the initial foul with free kick and that leads to a reaction. It should be a yellow card for both.
Clear red for Ox, kicks out twice. If it was curtis jones instead nobody here would defend it.
At least he took the other guy down with him.
Oh, this guy was a thing.
maybe a return to the saints in the championship?
Another guy who ruined his career by being a twat.
Him and Dele Ali, what couldâve been ehâŚ
What did he do that made him a twat?
Iâm being facetious, but I really didnât like the way he applied himself here at Arsenal. Couldâve built a better career for himself whilst he was here.
Could apply to a lot of Arsenal players from the last 15 to 20 years then. Donât think Chamberlain would come anywhere near top of that list.
Never had any problem with him. He tried his best, I felt Wenger never really defined a clear role for him in the team. He never quite had the quality to impose himself in the side but that doesnât make his character questionable.
He never had any sour grapes or had a go at the club as far as I recall.
Needed to accept he was best suited on the wing and just focus on that.
Injuries wouldâve destroyed him either way but him and AMN couldâve been serviceable players had they accepted they werenât good enough to start in midfield for us.
How did he ruin his career? The only thing you can say about him is that he left early for Turkey (at age 30). But a eleven year stretch at Arsenal and Liverpool is what every player would sign for I reckon.
I guess I just thought he had a higher ceiling to his game - in terms of his performances more so.
How was he a twat though?
that last game he played for us was a disgrace. Disliked him ever since. Basically playing for Liverpool on the pitch with us before he signed with them the following week..
Sounds like a player who doesnât want to get injured before his transfer. Canât blame him. Wenger shouldnât have players in squad who are not 100% in
The Ox back to Southampton?

I said this the other day

We robbed Liverpool on that transfer, no regrets.
His best position was really right wing back. He never had the quality or brains to play in central midfield or the end product to play in the forward line.
