Albert Sambi-Lokonga

Fs when did it become a loan, I thought vinny boy was stumping up 15m for his lovechild?

Surely kompany wants the next yaya toure?

Meh, the reason this isn’t moving fast is both sides are confident it will get done and are content to negotiate over the fine details to get the best possible deal. In my opinion, anyway.

I’m not that fussed if it’s only a loan. It’s not like we’re waiting for sales so we can start buying our top targets. If we shave enough off the payroll via loans it should free up funds for more cover for Saka.

You never know, a year in Burnley might work out really well and we’ll have a £30-40m player to sell next summer.

Bye bye Bambi. Fingers crossed.

I’m thinking we’ll get 10m out of it. Took a big loss on him, but shit happens.

Someone check on @Leper, his current favourite player is leaving. :arteta4:

Eh?

If you think Lokonga is a big loss, what do you say about Pepe :sol:

Irony.

Don’t take this the wrong way but what the fuck are you talking about?

Pretty positive you dislike the guy and wanted him gone for some time. Or have I got that wrong? :pires2:

Think you’re getting Leper mixed up with Stroller lol

Nah, Stroller is an OG Lokonga hater. Leper is a more recent one. I remember clocking it in January, @Leper wanted him out of here.

How do you even remember that :joy::joy::joy:

Cause I wanted him gone too.

Yeah but then he left on loan. I haven’t really thought about him since then.

Pepe will probably go down in Arsenal history as a cautionary tale the same way that guys like Albert Belle, Vin Baker, Jamarcus Russell have for their respective clubs in their respective sports. It was an unmitigated disaster of a signing. It doesn’t mean Pepe is a bad person or anything like that but I think it was a case of Raul doing some extremely shady shit.

Should really be an obligation to buy if Burnley stay up rather than based on number of appearances. Hopefully some regular game time will help. I wish him well.
