AFC Bournemouth

Gotta wonder what their top earners are on. 50-60k max?

That Solanke deal must be among the worst transfers ever.

Along with Ibe

Hopefully not by us

we should go for ake

City bound isnā€™t he?

yeah, which is a shame

Howe gone

Be interesting to see where he ends up.

Saw that yesterday but FA Cup Final was #1 priority so didnā€™t think much of it.
Would have been surprising if I heard a couple of weeks ago but now that we know that Bournemouth are totally fucked financially, it was expected. Eddie was getting paid well at Bournemouth. Good on him leaving to alleviate the financial toll on the club.
And no, he shouldnā€™t have stayed for less money. Howe is PL a manager. Excited for him to see where he lands. West Ham or Villa are good candidates imo.

Spurs when they sack Jose in November. Nailed on.

Not a surprise. Bournemouth are at the end of their cycle with him. He has done all he can. They need a new direction.

I think Howe to West Ham seems likely.

Their owners are cheaper than ours so getting a manager that can get a team playing good football on a small budget is ideal for them.

Tbh West Ham spend money. There just badly run.

A few of my mates are West Ham and although they did spend last season, it was the first time they had and the supporters have been told that this window isnā€™t going to see much in the way of big transfers.

From what supporters have told me, Sullivan and Gold signed a contract that meant they couldnā€™t sell the club for a certain amount of seasons but as soon as they can, theyā€™ll sell to the highest bidder.

They stand to make more than 100m each so itā€™s unlikely they will be spending any of that money before a new owner comes in.
Not bad for a couple of sleazy porn rag merchants, no wonder their fans hate them so much.

Yeah they definitely spend money

Ā£45m on Haller. Ā£25m on Fornals. Ā£20m on Jarrod Bowen. And that was just last summer.

Also, itā€™s a myth that Eddie Howe/Bournemouth didnā€™t spend money. They did. A lot of it compared to bottom half teams.

I donā€™t know how much of a hand he had in the signings, but they were almost all bad and I think that was the downfall.

He got promoted with his boys and heā€™d effectively been putting that team together since like 2008 or whenever it was.

If he could have kept that team young and fit I imagine theyā€™d have kept going but he never really seemed able to integrate new players into the group.

Iā€™m really not sure what kind of job he does walking into another club.

Jason Tindall? Iā€™m sure thatā€™s an ex rugby player
