If we lose every single game and City pretty much do as well, Liverpool can match our points total. They’re not out of the race yet. Tramps

Encountered this tool which let’s you look at different scenarios and visualise how that affects the race.
A good tool to calm my nerves. A single more dropped points for City, and even winning the game against us at the Ethiad would most likely not be enough.
With them having Chelsea away, us at home, Everton away, Bournemouth away and Villa at home I would be stunned if they won out.
5 wins to go from 7 games. Beating Bournemouth, Fulham, West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace would guarantee us the title, no matter what City do.

And Still City will only be 3 points ahead
Draw against City and it’s level on points.
I would be highly surprised if we lose the title from here
An absolute horror run where we win less than 50% of our games and city win 100% of theirs.
And they still just about win it.
We really do have the overwhelming advantage at this moment in time.

Yeah. That’s why for me, the next two PL games for each are the closest thing to early title deciders.
If we win those two, it’s done. But even a draw at City should be enough.
If City can’t win their two, it’s gonna be really hard for them to overcome us.

I had City winning every game except against us, and us drawing against them, Newcastle and Palace/WHam/whoever, and still won the league by 2 points.
Looks like not dropping 3 points at the Etihad is going to be important, both psychologically as well as to keep the distance intact. Our title to lose if we go to Etihad still 9 points ahead and come back without a loss.

I got us 10 points clear. I have us winning all games except city away (draw) and I have city winning all games apart from our game (draw) and Villa and Chelsea (also draws)
As long as Arteta keeps Kepa away from our first team, we should be fine.

Based on that scenario planner (AI is good for something after all), I’m feeling a lot better now after that disastrous final.
Just bring this league home, and I’ll be good.
Beat Bournemouth and I’m super confident that we get this over the line. The Champions League makes things more difficult as City will be more rested but us dropping 7-10 points out of 21 would be unforgivable.

Yeah I feel it would have to be an absolutely catastrophic run if we let this slip now. I wouldn’t be particularly surprised if the league was the only one we did win, but I do feel we’ll get it over the line.

All my scenarios have City winning all their games apart from vs us which ends in a 0-0 terrorball masterclass from Mikel
