I’ll believe again, if we can get 10+ point leads on City/Liverpool.
But I’m gonna enjoy how we’re going in the meantime!
Hope we can do it this time.
That Online Arsenal meetup has to happen come May or June.
Congrats brother
this is the table at this time last season
https://www.worldfootball.net/schedule/eng-premier-league-2024-2025-spieltag/9/
It’s still October for me not getting ahead of myself but its looking good so far. Lets hope everyone has learned from our two previous unsuccessful attempts and make it third time lucky. Cmon Arsenal
Only conceded 3 goals in 9 games is a fucking mad stat. On track to equalise or maybe surpass Chelsea’s 15 goals conceded record in 04/05??
Interesting, I didn’t realise Liverpool lost the top spot to City for a week.
I didn’t remember that either
that table looks suspect. Were City really flying that high for the first 9 games? Damn.
Once Rodri got injured, they seemed to drop points everywhere.
Rodri still isn’t back?
City have a tough little run coming up with Bournemouth at home, Liverpool home and Newcastle away. 3 draws would be amazing.
We play Burnley away, Sunderland away and Spurs at home during that period.
He came back but he did his hamstring recently.
Yep. He’s not.
When I saw the lineup it explained a lot.
They played Raindeers in Rodri’s position. Hurts them in a double way. Reindeer was probably their best midfielder this season, as an 8, getting many crucial goals and assists. Really impressive how easily he slotted into this team btw. Vital signing for them.
But playing him as a 6 they are losing him going forward while he’s also not a brilliant 6, barely played ther as far as I know.
I see they swithched that Gonzales guy (the DM they got from Porto last winter) for Bernardo in the second hald. Pep obviously realised they are better with Reyder in his prefered position.
They still can’t cope withouth Rodri and that’s brilliant for us.
Liverpool are going to struggle to get in the EL, let alone the CL places.
They’ve play Aston Villa next, who beat Man City, then Man City in the following match.
If we can improve our open play issue, I will feel far more confident about winning the league.
Will hopefully improve with Havertz, Ode and Madueke back.
Back to back away games up north. Both games will likely prove to be battles. If we get through both with 6 points, I think we will be 6+ points clear of 2nd place.
Liverpool and City can’t both get three points when they face off in a couple of weeks. We could have a supremely healthy cushion going into the next International Break.
Liverpool and City play each other and their other remaining fixture before the break is potentially tricky (Villa at home for Liverpool, Bournemouth at home for City).
Big opportunity here to extend our lead on both of them going into the next international break.
