25/26 Title race 🏆

So I actually have my wedding on May 23rd, 1 day before the last game of the season.

It will either be the happiest or the most stressful May of my entire life. Perhaps both at the same time lol

Purposefully avoided May 30th in case we were in the CL final :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Would be the most legendary OA link up in North London if we actually won the league.

I mean I definitely think we should try and do an OA meet up at the victory parade if it happens

I’d be there with bells and whistles lol

I never wanted to meet any of you in person but if Arsenal wins the league, I will tolerate it.

I’d love to attend an OA meet up to celebrate a PL win! I’d be well up for that.

How charming lol

If we win the league, I’ll travel up from Buttfuck, Devon to meet you all.

Dropped points against Chelsea but it’s been a tough run.

You’d expect our main rivals to also drop points. We just have to do our job.

No performances like the one against the west London scum.

We’ve got a bit of a cushion. Today was a chance to squash a title rival and we haven’t taken it sane when we’ve played against Liverpool and City as well.

Need 3 points against Brentford on Wednesday now.

Next seven is a critical opportunity to extend the lead. We definitely have the easiest run for that period.

Arsenal: Brentford, @Villa, Wolves, @Everton, Brighton, Villa, @Bournemouth

City: @Fulham, Sunderland, @Palace, West Ham, @Forest, @Sunderland, Chelsea

Chelsea: @Leeds, @Bournemouth, Everton, @Newcastle, Villa, Bournemouth, @City

I’d rather City’s fixtures for sure.

How? Bar West Ham at home, all of their games are potential banana slips.

Forest, Palace and Fulham? Nope.

Chelsea should pose them a few problems

5 clear of City at this stage of the season ain’t the worst place to be, sitting at the top no less. I’m certain this City side will drop quite a few points down the road. So just gotta keep winning our games so the gap between us and City keeps widening over the course of the season.

*for them, not for us. Hehe

Yeah, I think they could slip at any of those.

What is also massively important in this congested period is the squad we have and a lot of players returining from the injuries precisely when we need a big squad the most.

A lot of them may not be at their best shape, but even if some can have a good impact for a half an hour here and there it’s big for us.

I’m quite confident about this period precisely because of the size of our squad, it’s only those Villa games that are a worry, no matter what shape we’re in :grimacing:
Emery just LOVES sticking it to us recently, doesn’t he??
:charlie:

For me games like that are always a non negotiable 3 points if you want to be Champions, I’d have have felt the same even if we won at the Bridge.

True.

Especially after the lameness of the corresponding fixture last season that you had to unfortunately bear witness to first hand.

We owe em one.
