Sadly seems to be more likely than not.
Just simply waiting for the opportune moment after a series of decent results but unlike years gone by where the team has pulled together during the run in for top four we’re in free fall and I can’t see it stopping anytime soon.
Makes it a harder sell for him and the board but they’ll conjure up some jazzy new buzzwords I’m sure.
Could he be the new Gallas! We should probably give City Iwobi to make the deal fair.

Different roles, tbh. Mertens is more an Ozil/Sanchez replacement.
I could see him either in midfield as a CAM or playing behind the striker, i think he could be a handy player for us, but yet again i doubt he will be sold and if he is it will be BIG money!
