You know what really grinds my gears?

And let’s not forget how convenient it is. When I had luscious locks, I would constantly worry about shit, especially the weather. And I would spend at least 30min each morning preening myself in front of the mirror.

Now I wake up and I am good to go. It’s one less thing I have to stress about each day.

Supermarkets
You can meet someone you know and have a 10 -15 mins conversation with say your bye’s then you bump into them nearly every other isle . It gets annoying, what do you say ?
You turn down one isle and fuck me they are coming up the other way .
You try to blank them but you can’t help but saying something.

You can always hit them with one of these when that happens

That’s why I am glad that my supermarket have a one way policy at the moment. And, because people are thickos and don’t understand arrows, they have these at the end of the aisles

You do still get people who are thick/arrogant ignoring them, but in general it works. I love it. Should make it permanent.

In general The Great British Public.

The things you see and hear during lockdown mainly. I suppose there are just things you’ll never understand

These do not seem to be doing the trick in my local co-op.

Better standard of people round your way :xhaka:

I was in a co-op on Thursday and never noticed them. Very sorry.

First time I’ve went to my local Sainsbury’s since March haha. (Its not the big supermarket its the local smaller shop version) and the shop was empty haha. Still had to stand at the door until someone says you can come in but that was only a few seconds. Very eerie it being so empty tho :joy:

The cunts that have fucked up Thundercats… What the actual fuck is that new monstrosity :unamused::unamused:

Haha yeah just watched the trailer, that is absolutely atrocious lol

They must be trying to target a younger audience and demographic

These fucking ten second soundbites on the news given over a cellphone. They all sound like a fucking strangled parrot and you can’t understand a poxy word. Can’t all the audio engineers do anything about this?

Carbonated Water .
WTF is all that about .
I mean fizzy water … why

I like a bit of it with squash, means I can almost fool myself into thinking I’m drinking something as nice as a fanta.

But on its own, bleurgh. Never understood fizzy water.

It’s Tory water and it’s horrible.

I remember going on holiday to Italy in 1967. Young bloke, bigging it up to the girlfriend, we went into a little shop and looked at all the wines. ‘Man of the World’ here selects a bottle, goes back to hotel expecting a romantic evening and, yup, you guessed it - fizzy water.

The phrase ‘new normal’.

It’s not the new normal. It’s a temporary fixture. We aren’t going to spend the rest of time 2m apart.

I think it holds weight. A new normal might literally mean workplaces decide to downsize the space they use for offices, a considerable shift towards a WFH culture (some of my friends have been told they’ll be WFH until next year with the view of it being permanent for some teams).

Whatever happens from this, it’s not going to be temporary and there will definitely be a huge culture shift.

Strongly disagree with huge. There might be slight changes here and there. More people may end up WFH now that companies realise they can due to this 3 month trial run so to speak.

But a huge change in culture? I don’t think so. Once we are free to socialise properly once again, we will be back to the way it was before.

New normal makes it sound like we won’t ever be having crowd gatherings ever again. No concerts, festivals, big sporting events etc
I get there may be more testing in place over the next year or so, but I don’t believe society will majorly shift.

Yeah I get what you’re saying but I definitely think from an office workplace perspective there will be a huge shift.
