Really? I thought that was their best show in ages. Promo segments were really good and the matches were brilliant. Perhaps me watching it live helped.
I do have a theory on Braun. I think him doing stuff with TNA, ROH and with the EC3’s Control The Narrative deal is methodical.
I think he’s avoiding AEW specifically because he knows he’ll end up going back to WWE at some point.
This is speculation on my part but I can’t see him not joining at some point. He’s been name dropped a bunch of times and people in power like him a lot. Only a matter of time.
Same with Jeff.
His debut was very well done and a spot in it kind of became a meme.
Still, he seems to have gained a lot of weight. Bit worrying considering he had heart issues due to COVID last year.
He really needs to watch out. He could genuinely have a heart attack in the ring if he tries to have those high intensity matches he used to have.
The story didn’t check out for a reason, glad Jeff cleared his name.
I do wonder what the fuck really happened though that caused the split.
Perhaps he got Nick Khaned and WWE tried to dirty his name before he eventually joined his brother in AEW.
That would be scummy even by WWE standards, I think it’s more likely they got spooked by even the slightest suggestion of Jeff having a TNA-style episode with substances.
