Wrestling

Oh, I think non-fans could know things about that period but moreso about the bigger names. Like from the new guys Cena, Batista, etc.
Punk was treated like a joke in his first few years. Remember when they teased him cashing in his MITB for the women’s title?

Wrong thread pal

A couple months later, do you think Copeland made the right decision?

I mean, WWE aren’t really missing him

Yeah, I think both WWE and Copeland did well.

The Edge hype was gone in WWE. They did everything they could have done with him.
He wanted to try something different and clearly he wanted Christian as part of his retirement and that couldn’t happen in WWE after Christian extended with AEW.
He probably bagged himself a great contract too off of AEW firing Punk.

I thought he’d do more for AEW to be honest.

I mean, they’ve taken a household name and made him a midcarder lol.

Well, that’s why I specifically ignored the AEW POV.

Edge had the worst spear ever. It looked like it tickled lol

I can’t stand Meltzer and his stupid star rating system and I try not to give it as much publicity as possible but this match absolutely wasn’t 5 stars.

Yeah, this wasn’t AJ’s best singles match nor was it Cody’s best match.

It was a very good match with a fiery crowd. Meltzer lost his marbles but we knew that already. Dude’s brain is fried.

So he thinks this is better than Angle vs Michaels? Taker vs Shawn at both Manias? Cena vs Styles? The Triple Threat at Royal Rumble? His star rating is a flawed system

Does Meltzer even have objective metrics for his ratings? For starters he clearly has a personal preference for a style of wrestling that clearly clouds his judgement. I can’t take his expertise seriously.

I popped when Omega buried Meltzer’s rating system on his stream.

It is actually wild to hear Omega speak so much sense on these streams. Even Cornette recently praised him for it.

It’s a shame that just when he figured out how the business works he got diverticulitis and shortly before that re-signed with AEW.

I mean, Rhodes Vs Styles was a good match, but I don’t think it was anything overly special. By the precedents Meltzer has set, it definitely wasn’t 5 stars.

As soon as I saw the scheduling I knew WrestleDream was gonna be the target for Bryan’s “last” match.

I do wonder if Bryan will consider signing back with WWE. You’d think Regal will be in his ear trying to get him back.

Hall of Fame induction and then final retirement

They all went away, milked a light schedule and nice pay check off that cuck Tony Khan then came back to WWE.
