Wrestling

Yeah. I don’t have social media, all I have to do is uninstall YouTube for the day and avoid this thread :grinning:

Anyone close to you watch wrestling? That’s another way to get spoiled. Had it happen to me a couple times and have done to others as well.

I thought Miz v Gunther overdelivered. Chicago really thought Gunther was losing at one point.

I feel Gunther has reached a point where he is incapable of having bad matches.

Only the friend I watched it with. I’ve been at home all day before that. Not everyone lives on their phone

But, it was very deflating to see Punk come out. I felt the show underdelivered anyway and that made me wish I hadn’t bothered at all.

I haven’t watched much wwe tv lately. I might take a break until the Rumble.

Damn dude, you really don’t like Randy? :arteta4:

Isn’t he a sex pest, or something?

There were some strong rumours a few years back.

I know you kid but that was one of the most frustrating things - Randys return was really good. The finish to the match was good. The show was solid if not the best. They didn’t need to bow to the momentary pressure to bring Punk back.

Wait, what?

Edit:

Well, that sounds about Randy.

Something came out in the wake of the #metoo movement.

He was certainly an unstable individual until he met his current wife.
That woman tamed him.

Where do we go from here in terms of storylines? CM vs Rollins programme with the heavyweight championship at play? Can’t imagine the locker room being pleased with punk being parachuted into a title match.

The level of talent on this roster is nuts, there’s too many faces though, Orton should go heel, and someone else too. Maybe punk :person_shrugging:

Crazy looking back how the bloodline story dominated the WWE earlier this year but it won’t even feature in the next WM main events.

The Bloodline was an all time great wrestling story. You could put that up against anything. And I’m sure it will be seen again in some form.

You’re right about the lack of good heels. Orton is immeasurably better as a heel as you say. McIntyre should be quite effective too.

Randy turning is a given. Dude always reverts to being a heel at some point so it’s not an if, it’s a when.

Punk screwing Rollins and winning the title could be interesting. You can then set up another babyface like Sami or Knight to take it off of him.

I’m a bit conflicted on what happens with Gunther tbh and who takes the IC Title off of him.

I genuinely forgot about Knight, I wonder what happens to his “push”

Him against Paul for the US title could be a good one for WM. That title should be in the hands of a regular worker

Could do that. WWE is indeed stacked.

Next Wrestlemania is gonna be insane.

I guess the AEW one makes sense but claiming the WWE one in under 48 hours is nuts.

Is he expected to go straight into a feud with Rollins?

Think we will see a very fun run for him over the next year or two before calling it a day.

He apparently signed a 3 year deal.

There’s people suggesting he either goes straight into a feud with Rollins for the Rumble or they do it at Mania.

RAW tonight should be really good though. First hour is commercial free.

I think the top of the card you can have them all continue this current feud between the babyfaces and judgement day, with Punk now thrown into the mix, up until the rumble/road to wrestlemania starts. Throw in one or two turns along the way to spice things up.

I think they’re setting up a big angle for today.

That BWE account who has the rundowns says there will be a big opening and big closing.

I wouldn’t be particularly shocked to see the cash in happen today.
