Hotshotting your biggest match left and the ratings taking a hit without an opposing WWE event is not what the doctor ordered.

AEW is in desperate need of taking a step back and assessing where they’re going. Collision and Rampage aren’t working and I don’t think even know what purpose ROH serves.
Whatever momentum Edge had when he came in was lost within days and this last run from Bryan Danielson took a hit with yet another injury.

What’s worse is when he comes back his priority will be working Wrestle Kingdom against Okada which has its own risks and according to Meltzer his contract is expiring next September. Tony doesn’t want to exercise the option to add all those months he missed out on his contract out of respect, lol.

But it’s okay, Ric Flair joined and he’ll wrestle his latest last match in AEW. As if the previous one wasn’t uncomfortable enough to watch.
