How many matches of his you watched? You calling him a poor worker after a botched right hand blaming it on him being pals with the Elite lol

A lot. I think he can do the fancy moves here and there but I have always noticed he had bad psychology and timing in matches which is why he ultimately stagnated.

Let’s be honest here, what have been KO’s standout matches in WWE?

Various feuds with Sami, who carried him imo. The feud with Cena and then?
Jericho feud flopped but I’ll accept some blame was on Vince. His feud with AJ flopped.
His feud with Roman early on was good and the match was fine with Roman leading I’ll give you that.
His feud with Shane sucked balls, it was a spotfest.

I guess we can add the Steve Austin match which was mainly him doing the job.

I highly advise you take attention in his next few matches and you’ll notice he does a lot of unnecessary stuff in his matches that make no sense.

Again, I won’t take away his promo skills. I think he’s one of the best in the biz at it currently, but as a worker he ain’t that guy for me, probably never will be.

You don’t need to highly advise me to pay attention to his next few matches because I’ve been watching KO since 2015 and this is one of the only botches I’ve ever seen him make. I don’t how we’ve gone from a botch he made to his best rivalries.

I’m talking about the matches in the respective rivalries.
I’ve seen the guy live multiple times too, 3 of them were in the main event too, every time his match sucked and the crowd couldn’t bother.

Ok, I won’t call him awful but he just isn’t a good worker, that was never his forte.

@Josh Have you heard the rumours of Sasha/Mercedes going to NJPW?

Some fans are suggesting that means she is also heading to AEW.

yeah, i’m not looking too far into it. Shinsuke is working a match for the Great Muta’s retirement tour. It sounds like WWE at least are gonna start being more lenient when it comes to working with other companies under Triple H. I still think after this Sasha is gonna try and get into acting still.

Also if anyone here likes wrestling and quizzes, check out quizzlemania on YouTube. They do a fortnightly wrestling quiz with different guests each time (not a plug i swear lol) they’ve even had some wrestlers on there like Gallows and Anderson, Melina and Victoria.

I wonder if WWE is planting these rumours for Sasha to come back at the Rumble.

Oh my f’n god, had no idea about this.
This is gonna be an all-timer.

In AEW this would be a big drama and ITKs would be sharing all the petulant backstage arguments both real and imagined and claiming it was all really interesting because it might be a work or a shoot and shit like that.

The few credible reports on it say Roman was a bit annoyed after the match but calmed down in 20 minutes and everyone has moved on.

Ever since it became undeniable that AEW is in the toilet, the line of its fans has been that everything in wrestling is crap at the moment, but WWE are doing good numbers, that survivor series I believe has been confirmed as the most watched, there’s plenty of interest in the product and the quality of what’s on TV is clearly higher than before Vince retired.

I think a more “warts and all” documentary about Vinnie will only be made after he dies. There’s a lot to be said about that bastard. This 9 lives thing will be watered down, and you can already see excerpts from DSOTR in there as opposed to wholly new material

Looks like the turn could finally be happening. Jey tells Sami to smarten up next week because it’ll be a big week for him when Roman returns. Either they’re turning on Sami or they’ll officially change his ring name to Sami Uso

They won’t do the turn yet, they’ve only just had Sami hit the heights with the bloodline.

I think I read Roman Vs Sami is pencilled in for Elimination Chamber at the moment. Makes sense if they’re going with Roman Vs Cody at WM.

Interesting. I guess wrestling in Japan and Tokyo Dome was in Sasha’s bucket list.
She doesn’t really need this really.

Hearing good things about the ROH and NXT PPVs today.

Sounds like FTR v Briscoes 3 killed it, not surprised.
ROH is apparently set to restart its weekly programming in January with a lot of crossover with NJPW.

And on another note, looks like Tony and Dana(who are buddies) are building Paddy v MJF.

FTR are beginning to overrate themselves now, which is a little lame. They used to wrestle all the time on AEW under the tutelage of the hall of famer Tully Blanchard. Now they use it as a platform to cut promos.

Anyway, the return of an episodic ROH may be good news for both codes. It doesn’t muddy the waters.

No way, FTR are sick. Tag Team of the Year for me. They’ve had banger after banger this year. And they’re doing their way with heavy inspiration from old school pro wrestling where shit made sense.

Been getting the wrestling bug again the past week. Caught a bit of Dynamite and was pleasantly surprised. There’s the junk in there of course as always but I saw some good segments to be fair. Great stuff by Ricky and MJF.

WWE is gonna go up a gear soon while approaching Road to Wrestlemania and I hope AEW can step up again and provide a solid alternative like they used to.
