That’s the right decision. People have speculated about it for years, be interesting to see how it actually pans out :grinning:

Yep, he’ll probably be as boring in creative as he was in the ring.

As much as I don’t like the guy his understanding of the business is second to none. He’ll be a great choice and move the product away from corny Indy shit

YESSSSSSS

It’s hard to tell what you’re more bitter about - not being wished a happy birthday or Judgement Day 2000 :grinning:

That’s already the case mate.
There are various types of AEW fans that actually fight each other. You’ve got guys who dig everything and usually don’t engage in silly tribalism, you’ve got guys who love the indy roots and despise AEW for losing its identity after letting guys like Marko Stunt and Janela go(lol), you have guys who love the stuff from MJF, Punk, FTR and some other more serious acts and fucking despise the comedy and silliness in the shows. Hell, there’s AEW fans who think AEW is racist or sexist.

It comes with the territory of having a big fanbase just like WWE.

You fuck :joy:

First of all, happy birthday.
Second of all, fuck off!

Triple H did great things with NXT before Vince started self sabotaging his own promotion.

Now I know he is a bit of a prick but he is a student of the game and gets it unlike 120 year old Vince.

I wonder what Vince overall legacy is.

He changed wrestling for better and for worse. There’s certainly many positives to emerge from his control of the business and many negatives.

I think the business saw two incredible boom periods under Vince McMahon in the 80s and then with the Attitude Era but the steady decline of the product for the last 21 years is irreversible at this stage.

He is just as much culpable for the decline of the product as anyone

Pretty much this.

Reminds you of someone? :wenger2:

Mentally I replaced “Vince McMahon” with “Arsene Wenger”, “wrestling” and “the business” with Arsenal and “the 80s” and “attitude era” with “late 90s” and “invincibles” respectively.

Uncanny.

Glad I’m not the only one :joy:

I think Arsene Wenger would hate Vince McMahon more than Mourinho.

If the allegations of misconduct and abuse of power are true, his legacy will rightly be “total cunt”

(That’s not even beginning to touch Over the Edge 1999)

Gargano and Kross bout to rejoin WWE. Ciampa and Roode to get a push again.

Reckon Sasha will return too.

Gonna be a total shift in creative unless HHH is just a proxy for Vince.

LOOOOOL Roman

Dude just said to Theory “your daddy ain’t here anymore”

Yes it was. Glad their rivalry is done. Overstayed its welcome. Also, fuck TBS.

I wonder what Jericho does next now. I can see a feud with a returning Bryan or oerhaps he’ll challenge Mox for the AEW title.
