Short track speed skating is an exhilarating sport. I remember watching a Winter Olympics 12-16 years ago, there was a Chinese athlete Wang Meng who absolutely slapped the competition. Watching that level of domination was a privelege. The short track events are carnage at the first / second bend, but she just calmly powered past the plebs and cruised to multiple golds.

Damn, Vonn took an ugly tumble and got carried away by helicopter.
The 41-year-old, who was skiing despite a torn ACL, could be heard screaming in pain after the fall. She received treatment on the course for more than 10 minutes before being airlifted from the course by helicopter.
