William Saliba (2)

Gym or no gym, I’m pretty confident he stays for at least one more season

It looks like a gym/sex dungeon to me. He is definitely staying.

Nice, wish I could afford to replace my leaking conservatory.

Yeah he’s definitely staying. No chance he could afford to have all that shipped to Paris.

Rehab installed while negotiations go on. Medical can be done at home.

Dudes gonna sign a new 4 year deal.

Where are the hand cuffs and toys??

Thats so last year. Dumbells and a crosstrainer can get you very far.

Funny, I actually think that’s the other way around.

I feel CBs find it it the hardest adjusting to the league and usually have a mixed or bad first season, and then if they’re good they usually have a better second season.

Most players find it tough in the first season then adjust. I feel it’s another dig aimed at Arsenal if anything.

What’s his take on Antony’s, Sancho’s and Casemiro’s first season? I’m sure he’d say the opposite that it’s a tough first season but will adjust next season.

The rat Lisandro Martinez had somewhat a good first season… will he say the same as he said about Saliba’s first or is he sure that he will build on the success and be the best CB in the world only because he’s a Yanited player?

I actually think Saliba had his “second season” post World Cup when he looked a lot less stable and composed. He recovered well from that prior to his injury.

There’s no real set criteria for how someone will settle into the league. Saliba looks a generational defensive talent so unless injury ruins him I can’t see why he’d do anything other than continue pushing forwards.

Ex Man Utd player makes thinly veiled dig at Arsenal. Shock.

Get in the bin ferdy, your mate nev is waiting.

I don’t see what’s a big deal about that tbh, it’s always the question of whether a young player can back up a stellar 1st season if indeed they’ve been blessed to have one.

Just because it’s Ferdinand doesn’t make it any less true, fortunately Saliba is a exceptional talent both in mind and ability and as such chances are slim to none that he doesn’t fulfil his promise as one of the very best CB’s in Europe.

even if he did have a less productive 2nd season what’s it to you? Oh it will be something to pick on…but you guys pick on everything anyway :man_shrugging:

Doesn’t need surgery.

I had a feeling when he first got injured he wouldn’t be back this season. Back injuries arent something to fuck around with.

No surgery sounds good but can see this being managed for a couple months of next season til it flares up and inevitably the decision is to go for surgery then.

Obviously based on my elite level experience as a physio.

I just pray he’s healthy and ready to go in August when the 23/24 season commences.

They can also linger for a long time. The club should be doing everything they can to sign him to a new deal but also that RCB position is now a critical recruitment area this summer.
