Haha ffs, only one of them is for work! Going to New York for a week, attending the Awwwards Conference. The other trips I have to pay for myself!

Ghent is supposed to be gorgeous. Do share your reviews please once you’ve been

I handed in my resignation last Monday and my last day is 2nd October but I don’t start my new job until 24th October so I’ve played that quite nicely tbh

Off to Cornwall for a long weekend with my best mates for one of their 30th birthdays.

Then off to Normandy right after for another long weekend with my girlfriend and another friend followed immediately after by a week in Malaysia to visit my parents!

So my October is going to be fucking mental, especially since we’re then visiting friends in Great Malvern the weekend of the 26th.

Then I’m off to Copenhagen for the 4th - 12th November for a work conference as well as training in my new job but I imagine that will be fairly relaxed compared to my old job anyway.

So yeah, and then I’ve still got to decide what I’m going to do with the 2 weeks off for Christmas I get with my new job :pires1:

Nice one. What’s the new gig? Same type of thing or something a little less mental?

Moving from investment banking to the Danish foreign office promoting foreign direct investment in renewable energy.

More holiday, shorter hours, shorter commute, a pay rise (I work for a really stingy American bank) and more fulfilment in my job (I hope).

Nice dude. So a Danish equivalent salary, working hours and all the other benefits minus the absurd income tax? :joy:

Yes exactly haha AND I get Danish and English bank holidays to boot :smirk:

My quality of life will improve dramatically, and I might actually start enjoying life in London.

I’ll be able to walk my dog on the weekdays after work, what a novelty!
