A true gamer owns both
This. Last generation the first half 360 was killing it, so many good games in the golden age of online gaming, later half was the PS3. So many good titles. Iāll never forget, my cousin got out of jail and bought a PS3 to play with whilst on tag with Elder Scrolls oblivion
( which was before Bethesda streamlined their games) I couldnāt stop cracking up at how confused he was, I could just hear him cursing to himself in the other room, walked into his room and he was just shooting arrows at some creatures, literally for hours. We were both like WTF kind of game is this with all the text and menus and wizards and stuff, Ended up switching it for GTA 4. Wouldnāt be till I played Skyrim that I realised I had totally skipped a classic by judging a book by its cover.
@Electrifying letās see how it holds up haha
Your jumper needs a shave mate
Itās so old haha. Iām coming from the gym; itās like a 1998 WWF jumper I use when I do my cardio
I think weāre gonna need to see more now youāve said this ![]()
That met every expectation I had. Great garment
Iām getting hyped on this Ghost game listening to you guys talk about it.
Might end up getting it sooner rather than later.
Now is a better time than ever to bang out a few games, soon as the lockdown hit I finished a few games I had bought and never played. I love video games, but like @SRCJJ I end up with a massive collection which I never get the to play. I say go for it, Iām going to pick it up as well
Oblivion is one of my all time favourite games. I must have poured days and days of game time unto it. Had such an epic storyline.
Felt Skyrim just didnāt have the same level of world ending doom and immersiveness, despite being a fantastic game in its own right.
Iāll never forget using a bit of a cheat to get the sword Umbra. Hiding up on a pillar and shooting about 600 arrows at the really highly leveled NPC to get the loot.
@Electrifying and @TheSpecialCnut took the day off work and just did all of āThe Classicsā challenges in one play through on Master difficulty for The Golden Handshake (NYC Bank). First one of the levels Iāve done that for on Master difficulty (apart from Hawkes Bay but that hardly counts). That moment after completing the mission when it clocks up all of your completed challenges and the XP rolls in ![]()
So glad I got the DLC, itās a fucking brilliant map imo. Iāve mastered it in a way I havenāt any other, I know every inch of it like the back of my hand now and can pull of a silent assassin, suit only with my eyes closed and came up with a sick playthrough on my own without the aid of any online advice, Iām so proud of myself ![]()
Have you two done the classics on Master difficulty on lots of the levels? I want to go through and do this for every level now but just thinking about trying to do a sniper assassin (would all four targets need to be sniped?!)/silent assassin, suit only on Master difficulty in Colorado just makes me want to cry.
Yeah I can see that now, Itās a shame I didnāt recognise it at the time. Skyrim was the first Bethesda game I had played and honestly it blew me away in the same way that GTA 3 did the first time I played as a kid. The scope of the game was unbelievable, the world design, monster design and lore all drew me in. By the time I realised Oblivion was of the same franchise it was graphically to outdated and looked to clunky to play after Skyrim. I did however end up playing Fallout 3, New Vegas and 4 all great Bethesda games in their own right.
Lots of hardcore fans always criticise games when they get āstreamlinedā or ācommercialā but honestly without a game like Skyrim I would never have even looked into Bethsedas other titles, or even been interested in games like the Witcher, which I feel borrowed a lot from Skyrim. Funnily enough Mass Effect 2 another āstreamlinedā game is how I got into the ME trilogy!
I did the full SA/SO and Sniper assassin in all of the maps.
Colorado is the worst map in the history of bad maps.
The New York map is brilliant, full of small things like the robbers at the bathroom.
This Hitman reboot is among the most underrated series of the current gen.
Good God, how long did it take you to do that on Master? Did you watch anything online or devise your own route? Either way, respect lol. I donāt think Iāll have the patience for it. Far too many targets for that to be fun at all.
Just doing Miami now, for such a good map itās stupidly easy to get SA and SA, SO on Master.
Might do Sapienza afterwards if I have time before dinner as thatās another map I know inside out, shouldnāt be too hard to think up a way to get SA and SA, SO on it.
Absolutely. So underservedly underlooked. I got both parts for a combined thirty quid, the expansion for thirty quid. For the amount of levels and the size and variety of each one, plus other game modes, itās got to be up there for most value Iāve ever got out of a game(s). Iāve put big hours into it and Iāve still got many more to add to that total.
I echo both you guys, such underrated games.
Iāve on SAād the maps, never SASO on master, thatās crazy. I need to come back to them after I finish ghost
If you saw that video you would never think the game was released back in 2007! Got to say there is some seriously talented people out there in PC modding community, looks like an entire overhaul of the game!
Not a long a I expected, probably a couple days, on and off.
Colorado and the Isle of SgĆ il I watched a youtube video, the rest did on my own. Bangkok is a bitch, had to save scum on that one.
Hokkaido is an easy map to get SA/SO, mostly because itās already set up for the Ninja challenges.
