What's the last video game you played?

Its a sim racer. So probably not up your street lol

FIFA 20 was £25 a week ago lol

Calum playing something that isn’t FIFA and you’re disrespecting him. This is a big gaming moment for the lad.

Imagine buying a version of FIFA that’s relevant for more than 12 months :laca2:

I impulse bought Gran Turismo Sport just now - cheers @Calum for letting us know its only a tenner.

The memories I have of the early GTs on the original PlayStation. Fucking nostalgia to the max. Used to love the beginning of the game, buying some shitty random Japanese car for 8000 credits or whatever, and then slowly saving to buy a Mitsubishi Evo, then souping it up to shit and then buying the next car up. Eventually saving enough to get the Suzuki Escudo which had the maddest acceleration known to man. Used to spend hours trying to get gold on the licenses. Even did those boring endurance races where you had a 20% chance of getting a sick car.

From reading about this game, it seems a lot more online focused and less single player mode but still can’t wait to get stuck into this now.

It was a tough decision, did I take the piss about him playing a game other than FIFA or comment on his strange way of asking for recommendations?

You must of played v-rally if your gaming experience goes all the way back to the first GT?

That’s mad how much those games are  I thought both were usually dirt cheap by this point in the year!

I haven’t gone balls deep into a Gran Turismo since GT3.

Are they still great?

GTS might be the best one since GT4

But yeah there is a heavy online focus, but all the offline modes are all still there.

All the cars also have a proper graphics upgrade, compared to GT5 where some still had their PS2 models.

As we’re talking racing games, I’m just gonna say again that Forza Horizon 4 is great. So much fun tearing up the British countryside in a sports car, and it actually works really well as an open world game. It’s a good option if the gran turismo games sound a bit serious. There’s lots of fun side missions involving stunt driving for a movie, a ludicrous taxi service, triggering speed cameras, driving vintage cars, there’s even a series of Top Gear missions. I’ve only played it offline so I can attest to the game having a lot of mileage outside of racing other people online.

The only thing I really enjoyed about GT were the endurance races with pit stops.

Buy it first and then ask

Playing an adventure game called The Council. It’s a choices matter story about an Occult Illuminati type group. Some of this group include George Washington, Napoleon, English nobility, Samuel Adams daughter who is also possessed. Good if you like a ridiculous mysterious story

FIFA 20 actually might tbf :eyes:

@Sol @Electrifying takes an absolute century to download but GT is class and the graphics are incred! :fire:

I hear Amnesty International are busy preparing their guide on how to play Grand Theft Auto 5 in an ethical manner.

I’ve been playing it for a few hours now. Did the first set of training challenges. Got all golds and was rewarded with an 80s Lamborghini Countach. I used to have a dream cars calendar when I was younger and kept it on my bedroom wall for years even when it went out of date - my favourites of all the cars were the Dodge Viper, Ferrari F50 and the Countach. Brought back some fond memories indeed.

Got that Countach on Forza Horizon 4. Iconic looking car but it drives like shit compared to the more modern super and hyper cars. I used it for the mission that required it and that was about it lol
