What are you watching?

I honestly don’t think it’s even close. We could come up with a very long list of overhead kicks between us and probably a couple that are better than Rooney’s. Can’t do either with Bergkamp’s, that shit is without comparison.

Rivaldo, maybe?

Can’t think of any others…

Rivaldo is one that springs to mind, Trevor Sinclair for QPR in the nineties, Bale in the Champions League Final, Mexes for Milan in a European match, Ronaldo vs Juve.

That’s the off the top of my head. But if I sat down and watched some videos I could probably find loads more, as I think that hitting it with your foot rather than your shin is a good start.

I’d happily give Rooney the title of greatest goal ever scored with a shin.

Klaus Fischer trademark. Should of patented the overhead kick the amount he scored.

F*** off. That was Steve Claridge in the 1996 Division One play off final for Leicester v Palace

(Totally forgot about Bale v Liverpool in the CL final. Great shout for greatest overhead kick at the biggest stage)

Rebellion.
Five part dramatisation of Ireland’s Easter uprising in 1916.
A very good of mix of factual content with some good fictional drama that blended really well for me.
With plenty of the location filming being done on many of the places still standing in Dublin helped bring more feel too it.

@JakeyBoy I took your earlier recommendation (not specifically to me) and started Mindhunter. It’s really entertaining.

I’ve been been watching Quiz on ITV about the Coughing Major, very good. All the more intriguing as I went to uni with the daughter and still know her and see her every so often.

Are you all not working today?

I am. It’s fckin shit

I am but it’s pretty quiet to be honest.

In the garden doing a Khan Academy course on Economics currently.

Week off. First one in six month.

The Office. The fat guy with the glasses and goatee is my favourite, I need more of him :arteta:

Rebellion season two.
This series takes on more character development and story line mixed with the lead up too the Irish treaty signing.
Lot of good undercover stories from both sides and not always predictable. Moves at a quicker pace than first series. Enjoyed a lot and plenty of room for a third if they wanted. Good series imo.

I never bothered with the 2nd series of that… no Sarah Greene and no Charlie Murphy (the actress, not Eddie Murphy’s dead brother).

I am that shallow. :grimacing:

Wasn’t she a presenter on Ghost Train on CITV? Along with Philippa Forrester and Dobby the Sheep?
