First, only like 2 episodes in but I know already I’m gonna like it
I’m very jealous. I’d love to go back and watch it again for the first time. It’s a good thriller, which keeps you on the edge and keeps you guessing, funny in places but with an emotional kick. Hope you enjoy! Let us know what you think.
I haven’t watched season three but be prepared to hate season two.
Finally managed to watch most of Snowfall.
What a talented actor Damson Idris is (Franklin) I was shocked to find out he’s British! His American accent is pin point accurate lol. Boy from Peckham made it to Hollywood. Love that.
Seems like he is actually very good with accents:
I stuck with it out of boredom. Beyond ridiculous. Not a single redeemable feature
Rocky 3
What channel is that on? Love Rocky 3. Been ages since I watched it!
Itv4 mate
Rewatching Boardwalk Empire. Mrs has never seen it, and I’ve only watched it once like a decade ago, so while I remember lots of key events and character arcs, there’s loads I’ve forgotten.
Such a good show. Not quite in that Sopranos/Wire/BB/BCS/Succession A-tier, but probably one of the very best B-tier shows. So many good actors and it’s just lovely to look at, the budget must have been insane lol.
Richard Harrow, Arnold Rothstein, Chalky White, van Alden/Mueller and Al Capone are probably my favourite characters.
Watched Your Friends and Neighbours on apple.
First show I’ve watched since Mobland a month or so ago. If I want to watch multiple episodes in a night I know I am enjoying it.
Nice easy watch. Kind of like a not as good White Lotus.
Watching the Nam doc on Appletelly. Some remarkable stories from the people who fought or were affected by the war.
Well worth viewing if you are even just a little bit interested in that period of history.
Any Vietnamese, or just Americans?
Yeah. There’re some interesting interviews with former Vietcong.
Also an incredible story about a south Vietnamese civilian, whose family were killed. I won’t go into details as I don’t want to spoil.
I’m four episodes in, so two more to go.
The story of Melvin Pender probably my favorite of the bunch. You could write a pretty amazing movie of that guy’s life.
He is in Wikipedia if you never get to watch the series.
Will be watching Fantastic Four in a bit. Very excited.
Movie was great. Stick around for the first post credit scene. Second one isn’t that important.
Watching RenFaire on HBO while I try to get my new born to sleep.
Short docu series about the Texas Renaissance Festival which is apparently the largest in the United States.
Interesting look at people behind such a massive operation and the game of thrones politics that ensues as the owner of the faire decides to pass his life’s legacy on.
Fascinating and sometimes cringe inducing.
Binged like 7 episodes of Mobland last night. Given the binging, I can’t say that I’m not finding it perfectly watchable and quite entertaining, but it is pretty fucking mid and really doesn’t deserve much of the plaudits I’ve seen it get.
Absolutely being carried by the high calibre of actors they’ve got.
Brosnan’s dodgy accent is extremely fucking distracting though lol.
I was bored by minute 20
Some shows take way too much liberty to get to the point.
Watched the first two episodes of “The Studio”. If you can take “stressful comedy”, it is pretty brilliant so far… I am not an insider or an expert, but i also suspect there is a lot of inside movie/tech stuff going on that would be appreciated by movie buffs.
