On the subject of Bruce Springsteen, this song actually made me listen to more of his songs. I love Eric Church, his idol is Springsteen and he name checks a few of his songs in this song. Yes it’s country… but it’s had 54m views on YouTube so it can’t be that bad.

It probably doesn’t sound like what you think it’ll sound like. His albums do really well on the normal Billboard chart too, which is rare for most “country” artists.

I’m on series 5 of Dawson’s Creek on Netflix. And Joey has just sung this and it was great.
I’m pretty sure it was also featured in 10 Things I hate About You. Either way, I love it.
