What are you listening to right now?

Yeah those first two Gorillaz albums were epic.

I listened to a shit ton of Blink, Sum 41, SOAD, Tenacious D, RATM, Marilyn Manson etc. in the second half of 2020 so I’m not sure why they don’t feature in my top artists. I really didn’t listen to Talk Talk or Gorillaz nearly as much so I don’t know what’s up with the algorithm here haha

Think I might have listened to Talk Talk 4 or 5 times this whole year lol

Yeah same, i got a couple of artists on my list that i didn’t think i’ve listened to that much lol.

11221 minutes of listening time this year, which is less than the previous years, mainly due to the lack of commute.

God damn, what an album.

Great album but for that Lionel Richie dirge Easy. Walked out the gig when they done that in Birmingham in 90s.

You didn’t like that?! I don’t mind that cover

Hated it mate. You do a cover you need to rework it for me. Leave your own mark on it.

I actually checked the original for the first time just now.
I thought FNMs cover was great and I loved it, but damn the original is just so much smoother… Yeah, gotta say now the cover seems kinda pointless, I guess Mike was just showing off. :kroenke:

Got a hit out of it and MTV airplay was a bands friend back then. Mainstream song gets you new fans and record sales. Back then anyway.

I actually enjoyed seeing everyone’s Spotify wrapped, thought it was interesting to see how much more or less people listened to music than me and what kind of genres and artists others like compared to me.

Good way to get some inspiration too.

Yeah I liked looking at yours even if your number one artist looks like the biggest nonce this side of Savile.

It’s just a maymay bro

killer riff by Mick Ronson.

Very much an “in my own feelings” track but something about it hits the right nostalgia notes.

Great album and band.
Patton is one of the most inventive singers in music, along with Chris Cornell.

What did you make of Cornell’s time with Audioslave? I was a big fan of those albums.

Wish him and Eddy Vedder had done more together.
Loved Audioslave too.

The first 30 seconds of “Cochise” are phenomenal. Used to listen to it on the bus going to Cross Country meets in high school! Nothing like such a ferocious song to warm you up for like the least intimidating sport ever. :arteta:
