Exactly. We have played like shite, but those guys have helped us create something out of absolutely nothing.
Until we get the confidence back, this is what we needed.
All we were asking for, and the starting lineup has helped facilitate this. It’s what we were missing in the last few games.

Manuel Pellegrini helped us more than anything. I agree that Martinelli should always start but I doubt that lineup was really creating anything against Brighton or any other decent side. Would like to see what a Nelson/Saka, Auba, Martinelli front line can do.
At least he’s giving us the chaos factor. Pepe > Sanogo

Pellegrini another example of an “ambitious” midtable club just going for a name instead of doing proper research. Also seen by how clubs still sign dreadful squad players from top clubs.

Auba central is the main thing I’m happy about tbh. With the chaos of any game he can get an opportunity at any time, and he got one here and took it.
But he was out wide and couldn’t previously. And I think that’s a big difference.
