If he isn’t the clear #1 getting lions share of minutes like how others have had then that obviously affects it
However, if he were to get the same level of playing time as Havertz has been given then I can see him getting 20 non peanlty goals in the PL especially if we actually upgrade the LW spot
He is someone I believe can be the focal point and spearhead in a way Havertz is unable to be
Obviously the team needs to improve its attacking play regardless though

Even if he’s better than Saka at them which may be the case I doubt they get taken off of Saka right off the bat
He’d likely have to lose them through missing rather than just straight up jacked

I really hope we get a player that can score that many and in the many different scenarios you have explained. We talk about clutch players, you would expect Gyökeres to score in all of the big games at least, to properly take us over the line the last two years we couldn’t get over.
Spending upwards of £60M on a player that is touted to be the best available striker on the market at this moment in time, ja, 5 goals would be concerning, don’t you think?
Another every touch video I came across. I’m sure he’s had better games but this plus the Benfica video are really concerning.
IMO, the ceiling of this signing is a player who splits time with Havertz and gives us a more box striker option who is a better finisher but worse at everything else. I would be shocked if this player just takes Havertz’ job completely, the technical level and ability to keep/control the ball through contact just isn’t there. He’s going to give Arteta an aneurysm.
I mean if Havertz scores all those 20 goals when the game is already dead and buried then yeah, I can see an argument for why people may be on his case
