Buendia got really advanced before Villa hijacked the deal. We could’ve matched that but we passed up on it.
Maddison interest was even confirmed by Ornstein but we ended up going for Odegaard.
A recent example of a club working on multiple deals was Al-Nassr in January with Duran and Boniface. They agreed a deal with both clubs, agreed personal terms and then went with Duran.
Just as players can end up choosing one club over the other in the end, clubs can do so themselves. It’s business after all.
The chances of getting both of them are the SAME as playing two goalkeepers at the same time next season.

Dont remember advanced anything, i do remember the STORY that we did from ITK idiots if we wanted him (same with maddison) we would have got them as they were easily achievable.

And yet again you picking up these is not really going with what i am saying i am saying that (if reports are true) Sesko is a long term target and we have been in contact for well over a year. I dont seeing us as a club going to all that trouble and then dumping on him to sign Gyokeres. In reality it could be that the club knows we need 2 strikers with the load of the season.

But I am firmly on the get both bandwagon.
I’m am looking forward the Arteta finally achieving stage five and employing both Sesko and Gyokeres up front in a two goalkeeper tactical system.
I’m not having that…I stood alone on OA in support of Sesko while you were flip flopping with your allegiances. Sesko and Zubimendi are my boys!
As for getting both Sesko and Gyokeres, this makes no sense.
Instead, Arsenal should spend big on LW, aka Rodrygo, and on a third attacker. However, if we kept Trossard and Martinelli and didn’t sign a third attacker, in addition to Rodrygo, I wouldn’t be adverse to a Watkins signing, on the basis we could get him cheaper and given his age profile, I think he would be happy with a squad role at Arsenal.
