0 shots and 4 passes in 60-mins is a concern imo. Also he is technically very weak/ball control + first touch isn’t very good. But that’s not his game so can’t fault him too much.
The attacking players around him makes him look worse unfortunately. I don’t recall either of them passing the ball to him.
Hopefully he can get a few easy fixtures to stat pad against.

Yeah, but you can’t highlight him for having 0 shots while we were utter dogshit going forward.
If we play well and he can’t get on the end of the chances I’ll be worried.
I am disappointed with the performance and hoped for a hattrick lol, but far from worried or bothered at this stage.

It’s going to take some time for us to be a team that has a genuine CF up front and play to those strengths. Let’s face it, Kai and Mikel were brought in as centre mids who move differently when played up top.
yeah… Gyokeres just needs to forget this game and go again.. it seems like some of the physical play by De LIgt unsettled him and then our general dire play just exacerbated it… when he did get on the ball, he was not at all effective.. .need to figure out how to get more out of him and he needs to play A LOT better. Can’t overreact too much but we won’t get away with that shit very often.

He’s a low touch CF. This is the sort of performance you’d expect if the entire eleven are gonna play like shit.
that Sid, I think he’s more of a player to bring on if you need to create counter attacking opportunities later in the game, and with what we have, I’d still prefer Havertz over him.
