The mentality of the players Arteta has signed are on a different level compared to the bottle jobs we had previously. So many players over 6ft too…literally capable of bullying most teams now.

Cesc nasri rosicky combo should’ve won trophies. Shame santi never got a proper midfield partner to try and recreate it with.

Agreed. I preferred Wenger’s style of play, but prefer Mikel’s ability to get results.. especially against the top sides.

22/23 was the closest we’ll ever get to that imo.
Combo of effective counters and nice build up play with all players on form.

22/23 our attack improved so much from open play (because partey, xhaka, zinny, jesus, odegaard, martinelli saka) while our defense not really good
23/24 our attack start little bit regressed to score from open play because score a lot from setpiece (remember white blocked GK) while our defense improve so much
24/25 our attack regressed massively to score from open play too much rely on setpiece and clutch goal at the same time our also defense regressed massively

Perhaps, the ridiculous amount of injuries had something to do with that, right?
Let’s see what the #s are for this season. I expect to see improvement at both ends of the pitch.
our football style just sidepass and backpass with spam crosses + too much rely on setpiece to score goal have nothing to do with injures, its on manager who not creative create tactic
also many our player (attacker & defender) regressed, for example martinelli & havertz missed a lot big chance have nothing to do with injuries, its on manager who failed improve them
If you take a deep analysis how our attack changed this season compared to the previous one’s it all comes down to one big tactical point…

Yeah, he doesn’t care about all these frills and he’s certainly doesn’t look fazed by the name, reputation and history of a club like ours. There’s a confidence about him that comes through in these videos where he just knows he’ll do well.
