But just judging at their profiles, I’m very happy about Gyokeres only. OK/satisfied with Zubi, I still don’t have a clue whether he turns out the next Illaramendi or Xabi Alonso.
Absolutely not happy with Madueke if he’s THAT GUY for the left wing. Very happy with him if he’s a width/squad option for both flanks.
Again, still not excluding him developing his game on the left, but atm he looks very suspect there.
I really don’t think Norgaard is the right profile for our pivot/6. We need a more Jorginho-type there.
We have enough athleticism across the team, we don’t really need a ball winning warrior there, someone of Rice’s profile. PL proven, leader, still in great shape - yes, but technically, tactically I don’t think he’s the right profile for our 6, and I would be very worried if we would need to rely on him for a longer period.
Kepa, OK, I hope/expect he never plays.
Mosquera, a very exciting CB, especially at that price. Could turn out a brilliant deal long term, probably better than Kiwi, who is very good already. I still don’t think we really needed another CB that much atm, but expect him to be a very good purchase long term.
As said many times, adding a guy like Eze is still critical to give a proper rating to this window.
So far I’m very happy.
