The PS6 wont be out until the following year. This isn’t being made for that.
The PC version will be out before the PS6 
This current generation of consoles is never getting a decent run. Everything is always released to be compatible with the PS4 and Xbox One. By the time developers drop those consoles the next generation will be out.

Yeah historically speaking, there’s only 2.5 years left before the new consoles come out. Reveals will likely happen late next year, at least on the Xbox side.
Feels like this generation has just gotten started.
Same with Sony. PS6 will release November 2027.

Cant see why xbox will release a new home console. Maybe a handheld or a small streaming device for gamepass.
Both MS and Sony release their next gen consoles every 7 years, and the last cycle was in 2020.
They’re not going to miss an opportunity to flog a new system, even if all current AAA games are playable on the current system.
Xbox confirmed a little while ago that they’re releasing a home console in 2026 (likely will get delayed to 2027 tbh), but that they’ll also release a handheld also.
Rockstar are one of the best developers in the world.So if they say they need more time, I will give them all the time they need

This is one to bookmark. Think you’re maybe naive here, I think there’s a very high chance that they postpone this firther and we don’t see it til the PS6.
GTA6 would be the perfect way to convince people that a PS6 is worth buying imo.
Although I can just as easily see them releasing it on PS5 for £70 only to re-release it a year later on PS6 for £80

Also, curse GTA Online. Totally disincentivised them to develop and release new games. Fucking sucks how all we’ve had from Rockstar in the past 13 years is 2 fucking games.

They will absolutely do this. There will probably be a version for:
- PS5, XSX, PC, Switch 2
- PS6, Xbox 5
Heck they’re probably looking at ways they can port it over for PS4 and Xbone lol.

Did they actually? I thought there were longtime rumours about them going early but no official news about it.
And I could be wrong but I remember seeing something about those plans being in a bit of limbo the past year with Xbox embracing this publisher role and seeing great results out of it.
It’s not being naive. It’s simply looking at what they have done in the past, and assuming they keep the same sales strategy.
PS3 - Released November 2006
PS4 - Released November 2013
PS5 - Released November 2020
So I don’t think it’s a stretch to suggest that the PS6 will be released November 2027.
