regardless of the price, it’ll be the highest grossing entertainment product of all time in a very short timeframe.
Oh it’ll break all the records. Rockstar have been cooking this for over a decade now.

Maybe I don’t know enough about consoles but I was expecting a price tag of about £500 for the switch 2 with Mario Kart.
Not sure if I’m going to buy straight off the bat but the price doesn’t put me off.
Well it does cost more to produce and distribute physical copies of games. And there are a shit load of people in this world who prefer that.
You know of these people too. These are the people who still prefer vinyl in a digital age. The people who still maintain and update their DVD collection when Netflix and Amazon Prime exist.
And by far the biggest group are those who only read books, and never entertained the idea of using a Kindle or delving into audiobooks.
There’s just something different about having a physical copy rather than a digital one.

I still prefer physical media, particularly when games (or any film or programme) can be delisted at any point.

Also, Switch is mainly aimed at families and kids. Having a physical game to unwrap on a birthday or Christmas is definitely superior.

I wish they still did manuals. Still remember buying games from a shopping centre with birthday/Xmas money and taking in every single fucking detail on the box and in the manual on the drive home.
