Sure you can. There are lobbies that have no control restrictions.
Infinity Ward and Activision will also allow players to join multiplayer lobbies with no control scheme filters whatsoever. If you really want to get wrecked using a controller on PS4 against a player on PC using keyboard and mouse, you have that option.

Iāve become more and more interested as more info came out from this game, apparently it has lifted design characteristics from Uncharted, Dark Souls and Metroid Prime, among others.

I looked at the CoD user reviews on Metacritic. Itās got a really low rating. Loads of Russians leaving negative reviews because the single player apparently casts Russia in a very bad light.
The last CoD I played religiously was MW2 about ten years ago. Iāve tried a few others along the way, but nothing compares. Is the mutliplayer really back to MW and MW2 standards?

Self-selection bias already make user reviews useless, the ease in which they are brigaded make them even worse.

Sounds like the campaign is a good one then.
Those Russian cunts can shut the fuck up, the campaign is basically an allegory of their role in Syria from what I read so far.
The more people realise about those pricks, the better.

I mean its hard to compare to the old MWās because the nostalgia from those skews current versions opinions of the game.
For what its worth, its pretty decent online so far. Theyāve done well with the customisation and added stuff like temporary field upgrages (e.g activating dead silence for 30 seconds during the round instead of having it as a perk) and also moved the perks around for a balanced experience.
Thereās really not an overpowering setup anymore and games feel more competitive.

Multiplayer is faster paced and more diverse than the original MW, but certainly feels to its standard.
Itās no where near as fun as MW2, I loved that game but Iād hate to go back and play that now hahahha, Iād rage quit so much. God playing that game trying to get a nuke with a riot shield and throwing knivesā¦or one man army and noobtubes

Cheers for the insight gents, considering getting it. Iād play a lot more casually now. Ten years ago I was a student bum and poured days of gameplay into it. I get the feeling Iād be really frustrated up until I got the guns / unlocks etc. that suit my style. Always find these things a slog and lose interest rather quickly when you start with bollocks classes / setups

Best gun is unlocked at like level 4 or 5 (m4) then the attachments unlock fairly fast. I dont have time really either my kid goes to bed then I spend a fee hours with my partner then I play games from about 930 to 1130 ish I dont find the levelling a slog.
In fact a good thing I found is the 2v2 gunfight mode ā¦first to 6 rounds tiny maps extremely quick rounds , everyone has the same guns. If you dont have time that really gets my fps itch

I only played about 3 hours of online an I am at lv8 so wonāt take to long to get good weapons at all.
Love the size off the maps tho carnt just run an gun anymore an can actually sit an snipe on some off the maps.

Its a bit shit at the start but once you get the setup you want the game improves 10 fold. I was fucking horrid at the start.
The m4 is indeed one of the best to use all round and it unlocks at 4
Youāll be rank 4 by playing a few games figuring out the buttons and the pace.
