What’s your stance on Death Proof? 
I rate it…although similarly with Kill Bill, it should have been released as Grindhouse, a double-feature with Planet Terror as it was originally intended, rather than as two separate feature films. What’s your take? Guessing you’re not a fan…

It was always meant to be one film, but was split into two by the studio. If I recall correctly, Tarantino edited the film into two parts, but didn’t just cut the film in the middle. So the benefit is seeing it as a single film, as Tarantino originally intended. Plus, the trailer makes reference to new footage, plus being unrated. Kill Bill Vol 1 was changed for the censors to get a lower certificate in the UK and US, specifically the’House of the Blue Leaves’ sequence, which was considered to be too bloody and violent, so most of this sequence in the theatrical release was changed to black and white. The Japanese release was in full colour.

Those are some high standards to live up to. Loved Breaking Bad and probably loved BCS even more.

We were talking about Kill Bill here a couple weeks ago.
Quentin did a collaboration with Fortnite(yes, the game, lol) which will cover the Yuki’s revenge story in Kill Bill.

I honestly don’t think this new Kill Bill content is random. I feel this might be a hint of what’s to come next. Would not be shocked if we hear that Kill Bill 3 will be the next Tarantino film.
There was always a suggestion that there could be a ‘Volume 3’ of Kill Bill with the focus on Nikkia Bell - the daughter of the assassin Vernita Green, also known as Copperhead, seeking revenge for the death of her mother
He said it in the Rogan podcast if I recall correctly.
I believe he also mentioned how cool it would be to have Maya Hawke portray The Bride’s daughter.
Seems like Quentin and Uma are cool again too. They were posing together for that Fortnite event.
Only recently finished the third series…something else to look forward to in the New Year…worth a watch if you haven’t seen it…all available on BBC iPlayer

Star Trek has been shit for a long time.
I actually quite like some off the new trek. Lower decks and Strange new worlds are some good trek shoes.
Discovery has its issues. Picard was ok but last season was entertaining but more for nostalgia
the IP hasn’t been good for 30 years, this is exactly what I expect a new series to front in 2025
