A competition a tier below the Europa League, yes you heard that right. Does give the middling european clubs around the continent something to do mind and it helped the format of the Europa league (32 teams instead of 48).

The knock-out playoff rounds between the runners up of the europa league and CL 3rd place will be interesting too.
