UEFA Champions League

Dortmund would probably benefit from being knocked out to be honest. They’re not going to win the competition, so might as well save their energy for the league.

That said, it would be bloody hilarious if Spurs somehow cocked this up!

How many times has a team gone out after a 1st leg like this ? In my 20 years of following it all I can remember is La Courna overturning 4-1 vs Milan 15 or so years ago ? Then several close shaves to no avail, like Juve last year vs Real, Arsenal vs Milan 2012, Arsenal vs Bayern 2013 and Arsenal vs Monaco 2015 lol.

Last season Roma lost the first leg v Barca 4-1 then won the second leg 3-0 and went through on away goals. Season before: First leg: PSG 4-0 Barca. Second leg: Barca 6-1 PSG.

Yeah about a 5% chance for Dortmund to qualify seems about right.
