We can revisit this once we get knocked out lol. This season so far absolutely does not suggest we’ll be able to handle a top team over two legs, so add that to our historic inability to do anything in Europe.

I do wonder what Inzaghi would do with a bigger budget. If he could have another top quality CB, a better LWB, a stronger CM to replace Mkhi and much better quality depth upfront I think Inter would have walked the competition this season.

Personally, I’d be fine with either but I do prefer Inter.

Inter are the true underdogs of CL, fighting with peanuts compared to the rest of the European juggernauts.
PSG finally winning it by not relying on mega stars like Ibra, Messi, Neymar and Mbappe would also be ironic but I’d be moreso happy for Luis Enrique. His work at Barca was really underrated and he laid the foundation for the Spanish NT that we saw win the Euros.
It’s criminal how no top team looked at him seriously when he was available.

PSG are the Manchester City of France. There’s nothing endearing about them and what they’ve accomplished.

It’s been done in the exact same way as City. They’ve spent an extreme amount of money, ruined the transfer market, stockpiled young talent from across their domestic rivals..

The only thing they didn’t luck out on was getting Pep Guardiola but he’d have been sacked by them the same way everyone else was for not winning the CL.
