Terrible lineup from Unai for a match in which they need to score at least twice.
Man really refused to sell us Watkins for 50m then started benching him in key CL ties for Marcus Rashford.

Bizarre isnât it, why are players like Watkins, Asensio, Bailey all on the bench when you need two goals without reply, and likely more than two? Unai always liked leaving some firepower on the bench to change the game from there but this isnât the match for it at all.
Especially when Rashford isnât a #9 and doesnât want to play there
Ultimately one of the reasons why Emery just wonât be a top don in the game
I remember at PSG early in the 2nd half when he took off Cavani for Meunier at 1-1 against Real Madrid away, they went on to lose 3-1 lol
I mean I donât even rate Rashford but surely a front 3 of Rashford - Watkins - asensio when you need to win by two goals against a team that will definitely score.
Or even put asensio in the midfield and Bailey out wide.
They really had to park near all those trash bags?!
They just played the Europa League anthem instead of the Champions League one at Villa Park. Players were all lined up looking baffled
