UEFA Champions League

Klopp is leaving?

Lonely Napoli reporter tuning in, a routine 2-0 win in the end Di Lorenzo with a stunning team goal, Frankfurt had a player sent off.
OA favourite Dichi Kamada played and was shit.

I don’t know but the bookies have him about third favourite after Moyes and Potter.

The whole Liverpool team needs an overhaul which is a massive job and might not interest Klopp who might prefer an easier job at a club like PSG or Bayern Munich.

I would leave if I was Klopp, looks about 30 years older then we he joined them

the guy looks like he needs a break

Great managers build numerous teams.

Ferguson done it. Wenger done it.

Lets see if Klopp can.

Would you say he done it at Dortmund too? two leagues and a CL final…think doing it twice at the one club is very very rare.

At the time I thought BL wins were big but I’m not sure if Bayern winning ten since means it stands up. Just a shit league.

Don’t follow the Bundesliga so didn’t want to comment on his time at Dortmund as dont know anything :joy:

I actually think they’ll get 4th tbh, if they win the game in hand vs Wolves next week they’d only be 3 points behind ? Remarkable given how poor they’ve been this season.

Real Madrid are such clutch gods, nice to see Napoli win comfortably also.

He could build a great new team but probably not at Liverpool.

Since they sold Mane, they’ve also seen influential players lose form like Salah and TAA, as well as several injuries to key players.

It’s clear they’re no longer the force they were so if they don’t get CL football, along with the level of investment they need, Klopp might fee like a change of scenery and move elsewhere.

Atletico would be a good fit for Klopp.

It really became rather embarrassing how we were routinely getting knocked out in the R16 by a Bayern or Barcelona in the 2nd half of the Wenger years.

Our hiatus from that competition and a new manager at the helm will hopefully result in a change to our routine beatings we used to receive.

I’m actually quite keen to see Barcelona beat United in the EL and go through so we can draw them lol

For the first time in my life I actually feel like we’re good enough to go toe-to-toe with the Barcelona level teams and I think we’d stand a good chance of beating them.

Plus I really want revenge for those losses against them in the CL.

New manager, new Arsenal.

Top 4 was the ultimate aim this season, and if we manage to get that which is looking good currently, I dont care who we draw or how far we get, I just cant wait to in the stadium as that music is played on those midweek nights.

Bring it on

Less embarrassing than being knocked out by Olympiacos & Emery-led Villareal. Both exits happen at home in the faces of Arsenal fans.

Sure, but nothing to be proud of going home losing 10-2 on aggregate against Bayern.

Bayern is a far superior club with resources exceeding our mediocre club.
Olympiacos & Villareal should never knock us out. It shouldn’t even be a close match against such opponents.

It was far more gut-wrenching seeing us lose against a Greek club in last minute & against a manager we deemed not good enough for us.

Bayern have similarly pummeled Chelsea, Spurs and Barcelona in recent years.
It happens.

How anyone can defend the embarrassing defeats we suffered in Europe is beyond me lol
