I just loaded this thread to hype up this guy.
Sangare really really excites me as a player. Any Vieira comparisons would be too easy, but not totally unfounded.

With January out of the way, what are peopleās thoughts on realistic summer recruitment?
Listening to the recent arsecast, there was a Flamengo fan featured and he said he expects the Mari transfer to be a permanent one. Thatās the gist of how he felt when the two clubs concluded business at least. So with defensive issues supposedly dealt with for now, it sets us up to recruit for a few positions in the summer.
I think weāll have to firefight the negotiations with Auba and potentially look to replace if he wants out. So a forward of some reputable mould should already be looked at.
I expect Xhaka and the club have agreed that they will part ways too, so a player like Sangare would be an ideal replacement. Our enquiry into Dani Olmo in January, before he moved to Germany, maybe gives us a glimmer of hope that weāll look to bring in a CAM.
I think CDM, CAM and an ST are three positions weāll look to heavily invest in this summer.
The market for midfielders is vast, so I expect weāll have no trouble recruiting there. Forwards are a different scenario and one where we might be paying over the odds for.
@Feche what are your thoughts on Adolfo Gaich?
Iām just preparing to be underwhelmed, think weāll do the bare minimum in the summer.
I donāt think we will lose Aubameyang and Lacazette in one summer. With that in mind and Nketiah and Martinelli possibly going to the striker position Iād say a winger and two midfielders should be the priority this summer. We have so many centre backs on the books that even if we offload two (Mustafi and Mavropanos) and with Saliba coming in that position is settled as far as numbers go indeed. If Kolasinac is really done here (since the Kurzawa rumours) a left back should be looked at. It remains a big question if Tierney can remain healthy at this point.
Ship Ozil and bring in two creative/attacking midfielders. This should be priority.
Mustafi Xhaka El Nene Mhki Laca all gone Ozil hopefully but I doubt it.
Aubameyang I can see going but Iād rather he didnt.
Priority is a creative or goal scoring midfielder who is high energy and can press win the ball and make the correct decision. ( from what Iāve seen Zaniola is a good goal scoring midfielder who likes to dribble and press alot of potential)
Next is a deeper midfielder that can actually move and isnt brain dead, to partner lucas in midfield ( please Tonali )
I wouldnāt mind Grealish or Cantwell to be bought either, they can play on the left or right wing or central and would be a solid addition.
I presume Saliba and Mari will be starting cbs I am not going to judge him yet.
Bellerin. Saliba. Mari. Tierney
Lucas. Tonali
Zaniola
Pepe. Martinelli/Grealish
Auba
Young solid team. Iād prefer us to have a more dominating ball winner than Lucas and a better right winger than Pepe but thatās not realistic. Saying that Zaniola is probably worth a fuck tonne but I dunno.
This was my team on Football manager mobile second season, although I had Luiz still instead of mari and bought Benkovic from Leicester.
I cant think of any midfielders that are in our price range anymore, that are technical but imposing, I feel that would help us alot, a leader.
Auba, Bellerin and Xhaka out. Hopefully someone pays big for those 3.
I think youāre being far too optimistic.
The bare minimum for us should be a top four place so to achieve that we would need to get rid of our high earning, low performers like Mustafi, Xhaka, Lacazette, Kolisinac and Luiz and then get a top quality CB, winger, DM and RB, with all of them having leadership qualities.
Itās not going to be done in the next window but I would expect two top class players coming in and at two or three low performing players leaving.
Iād like Arteta to get rid of Mustafi, Xhaka and Lacazette.
Since they arrived we havenāt seen a top four place and they seem complacent, inefficient and uncommitted.
What kind of example does that send to the younger players in our squad?
They have to watch the senior players who are not only useless but lazy as well.
Iād be surprised if the board give Arteta much more than 80m net, so he isnāt going to do much with that.
We might see a couple of youngsters with potential coming here and maybe an established PL player like Grealish or Zaha but not much more.
We need a proper left winger too.
Just want these four gone: Lacazette, Ozil, Xhaka, Mustafi.
If we did get rid of all of them we should be able to get around 50m and save about 700k a week in wages.
So with the money we could get a couple of decent players that can actually get us goals and points rather than throwing them away.
Bring Cesc back to play out his career as reserve .
I imagine itāll be the same as every other summer. We need like 5 players of significance, but weāll probably end up getting 2, and 1 of those will take ages to settle.
And the other one will already be injured when we buy him, play for us about 5 times around October/Nov and then get injured again until the spring.
Youāre kidding, even factoring in their contract situation, thatās at least 100m worth of players.
Doubt we can get anything for Ozil. Moose probably worth 15-20, Xhaka 20-25, Laca 30-35ā¦
Iād say 65-80 is probably realistic and would be smart business imo.
I was under estimating but youāre probably right and it is nearer 100m.
Thatās even better, it means we might get three players then.
Would of bought you the Liverpool front line that. But alas. . .
Only clubs with more money than sense who we could potentially sucker into paying that fee is Everton and West Ham. Sadly they both have decent CF options
clubs around europe wonāt go above Ā£30m
