Generally I do prefer a full back who provides a threat on the outside over inverting. Inverting is more of a defensive tactic.

As for Arsenal needing to sign a left back that can overlap, that’s very much a summer window thing

And seeing it being implemented by Pep made me more militant

And your evaluation of MLS and Calafiori to fulfill that role?

Lewis-Skelly is a midfielder, so I don’t see it being valuable for him to play such a role.

Calafiori has the capabilities. It’s just a shame that he’s been bitten by the injury bug.

I question Calafiori’s ability to get up and down. But ok. Let’s see what they prioritise in the window.

Shucks that we didn’t get Hato instead of Calafiori last season. He may not be as classy as Calafiori at their respective peak but still absolute class.

Didn’t think he’d move to a big club like Liverpool so so soon. Back in Feb/March, I thought someone like Newcastle would be a big enough club for him but fair enough for Liverpool fast tracking the signing.

Raw player but ceiling is high and physical/playing profile is so so good. 2 goals and 1 assist in his first two starts.

If he fancies playing out left cutting in then I know a team with a gaping wide hole, ready made for him to fill.

Go get him if the chance is there

We can sign him provided that there are outgoings. How long have we got to raise 100m?

In fact, let’s give the 50m and Martinelli.

Would be my favourite attacking signing of everyone we’ve been linked to this summer.

Or get Sorloth on the cheap. Berta probably knows him well

dude if we can get him as a last minute grab.. :star_struck:

Needs to look at things under perspective, could have signed for Spurs. He’s welcome to come here if he wants. 50m should do it.

ooohhhhh and matron come to mind.

Isak - 80m plus Jesus and Zinchenko

Apparently he fell out with Cholo so maybe.

Isak or Alvaerz, I don’t mind; just bring one of them here to bolster this limp attack please. Maybe the Havertz injury is a blessing in disguise and will force the club to act?

Atletico would possibly even take Jesus off our hands. Win/win
