Easy on the eye isn’t it?
Yeah but I am personally a fan of Calibri
Excellent choice
Hato
Zubimendi
Rodrygo
Isak of Cunha
Harteta Hout!!
That’s also a massive amount off the wage bill so if we are going to spend big in this window this will make it a bit easier.
Interesting to mention Hato - do you think Kiwior leaves in the summer?
My updated Wishlist:
Backup GK
Zubimendi
Raphinha, or if not feasible, Nico Williams or Rodrygo
No.10
Sesko
If we have money left over, I would maybe opt for a new LB (if we sell Kiwior and see Calafiori as a LCB going forward) or a new LCB (if we sell Kiwior and see Calafiori as a LB going forward).
I reckon Kiwior would want first team football. Think he’s way down the pecking order here. With Cala here, Hato is probably unlikely though.
Think that(Hato interest) depends.
Bit of a domino with defenders because Liverpool seemed frontrunners on Hato but now it looks like their attention has shifted towards Huijsen.
If we don’t land Huijsen we may just revisit Hato.
We’ll never sign him because he doesn’t operate off the ball in the way Arteta would like but a maverick talent like Cherki would add a whole different layer of unpredictability and chaos to our attacking play.
His dribbling, passing, close ball control is out of this world.
We’re not signing Raphinha, never in a million years
Yeah, I don’t know why @The_Invincibles keeps entertaining this.
Barca would be well within their rights to ask us a record fee to sell him at this moment in time, and he’ll be well within his rights to either tell us fuck off or ask us to make him the highest paid player in Europe.
@Josh and @GC-Maniac this is the Transfer Wishlist thread so if we cannot dream here, where can we? However, in my defence though, there was a report a few weeks back that said Barca had opened negotiations on a new contract with Raphinha, as he now only has two years left on his contract. The report suggested his wage demands were significant and mentioned that Barca may be open to selling if they couldn’t agree a new deal. Against that context, we should be all over that transfer, as he could make an instant transformational impact on the LW for us.
Agree on your first bit, list whoever you want that’s the point of the thread.
As for the quoted bit I wouldn’t read into that, so often these days it’s just leaks from either agent or club to force the others hand when they’re in discussions. Look at salah giving it all season ‘these are my last games at the club’ then 2 years signed.
I can’t think of many top players who had contract fallouts and actually left a big club in the prime of their game in recent years. Mbappe you could potentially mention but those seeds were sown before he even went to PSG.
Before Zubimendi arrives, here’s me wishlist;
Gyokeres, Delap, Lookman, Reijnders, Agoume, Ndicka, Pope.
Pope to start ahead of Raya?
Pope could be an interesting option for a Backup GK…seems likely Newcastle will be in the market for a new No.1 in the summer.
No. Just reducing expenditure.
Citing Woklz Football; Jean Butez and Jeremy Jacquet seem like sensible squad building options.
Who?
