Arsenal should consider Ola Aina as a free transfer.
White & Ola Aina as RB > Move Timber to left back > allows MLS to move to midfield.
Where does Califiori fit in?
brace and bandages unfortunately
Serious answer would be the potential departure of Kiwior would mean Calafiori is the backup defender.
Timber → First choice left back, Saliba backup, third choice right back
Calafiori → Second choice left back, Gabriel backup
Can’t knock that for a signing. But, I’m not onboard about the movements to fit him in - people are fine where they are for now.
Really solid player is Aina, but doubt he’d come here to ride the bench. He could get much more game time at other clubs.
Think he’ll just stay at Forest to be honest.
From a purely selfish (English) perspective, I actually hope that MLS continues at left back. I think he has plenty of time to transition into midfield, but for the new few years, I think he can establish himself in that position and as one of the best around. He can continue to invest into midfield, aka Zinny in his prime for us. We just need to tie him down to a new long term deal. What a player we have, and he is one of our own!
Don’t Lyon need the cash, so they can be raided forfana?
Perhaps he can replace Sesko, Ekitke or Wirtz…
How about Aina as a backup DM? Assuming Jorg and Partey are leaving.
No idea how good he is as a DM
I aina fan of that suggestion
You can only pick two:
- Nico Williams
- Rafael Leao
- Rodrygo
- Leroy Sane
- Antoine Semenyo
- Bradley Barcola
- Jamie Gittens
- Alex Baena
- Rayan Cherki
- Bryan Mbeumo
- Mohammed Kudus
- Matheus Cunha
- Kenan Yildiz
- Malick Fofana
- Kaoru Mitoma
(I could probably add another dozen of names, have to sign a winger this summer)
Is this the famously good list of wingers? I like about 4 max. Half of them not even proper wingers.
This list, yuck. What happened to my sport.
Wingers clear the strikers with ease.
Haven’t wingers always cleared strikers in the market historically? It’s essentially four positions (LW/RW/RM/LM) vs. 2 (ST/SS)?
Don’t know. For what is worth I didn’t share those for their market value, it was a just quick way to compare the players between the two.
