He’s been deployed off the wing mostly. Definitely a left side attacking midfielder rather than a direct winger.

Should be a decent pot after we fuck Zinny, Kiwior, Nelson, Trossard (respectfully) and Jesus off. Then the Kroenke’s can dip there hand in their deep pockets.
If you do that, you would need to invest in a backup defender because there is no way we are relying on Tomiyasu.
I think one big forward signing would be fine.

I’d be fine with Saliba, Gabriel, Timber, White, Calafiori, Toni, MLS, Partey and Rice as defensive options. Ideally, you add a full back for depth but I’d sacrifice it for Isak and Musiala.
Not with Jesus and Martinelli looking scared of the opposition goal.
I’m still unsure why you are so convinced we are going to have a low transfer budget again this summer…based on another years CL income, and the fact that the fee for Rice would have been paid off, I think we will be spending big.
I think @Truth_hurts has been quite conservative…I want:
- Viktor Gyokeres or Alexander Isak
- Khvicha Kvaratskhelia or Nico Williams
- Martin Zubimendi
- A new defender
- A backup GK

Say 200m total spend.
Mid-range with 200m…I think that’s the minimum.
I actually think if we can go on and win the league this season, that will encourage the club to go out and spend big to reinforce the teams position. Unless there are some bargains out there in the summer, we ain’t getting much change from £50m for a new defender and a backup GK, and leaving aside my wishlist I honestly think we need a striker, winger and midfielder too.
