He might be the best talent in world football. He’s semi retired at PSG though. For me, he needs to be the main man in La Liga.

I was getting excited by the thought of Felix. Neymar would send me into another stratosphere.

Impossible deal though.

Hugely. We dropped a ball not getting him.

Probably turn at least one of those results around tbh. Could be looking at 4 from 6.

15million saved for the books though. That’s priceless.

Yeah that 15 million is half a Fabio in the summer potentially

Sell Pepe, Lokonga, Vieira, AMN, and Nelson.

Buy Rice and Maddison.

Win PL title.

CF will be very low on my shopping list with Jesus, Nketiah and now Balogun coming back.

I’ve never met one so my view on them is what I see online but City fans were gutted to hear Maddison was a target for them.
Insane. Proper spoiled.

Many clubs should be looking at Madders in the summer.

People were mad on here at the suggestion of Maddison a season ago.

I think there are fair question marks over some of his fitness issues and how reoccurring they might be but he still has 30+ league games every season in the PL so far and his numbers are top class for a midfielder.

Said it before, closest thing to KdB with his dynamic skillset. He can pretty much do anything. Left foot, right foot, pass or shoot from various angles and spaces, set-piece specialist.

Maddison is good enough for any team in the league in my opinion.

It was more a case of he couldn’t work with Odegaard.
I never understood that argument. Top coaches and players with skill sets can easily be accommodated.

I fall into that category somewhat in that I’d question the balance of our midfield with both Maddison and Odegaard in there. I’d be willing to try it though due to how much I rate Madders.

I think he’ll go to Newcastle and will be their marquee signing.

He would be a great signing but l us getting both Rice and Maddison would be a fantasy football window

I think we’ll be forced into a decision in the summer.

Eddie or Balogun? Who you taking ?

Can’t make a decision now. Need to see them in preseason. Hopefully Arteta and co. can make a decision then.
I don’t discount the possibility of one of the two requesting for a move as well making the choice a bit easier.

Balogun gets a contract extension, raise and Premier League loan whilst Eddie gets a year to prove himself as a Champions League level performer.

Don’t feel as though we need to make a decision unless either Balogun Or Nketiah force the issue.

Why would he sign a new contract? His agent is the same guy that forced our hand last time and the same one Nketiah and Saka have.

For exactly the same reason that Nketiah and Saka have signed a new contract - money.

What would you suggest is more likely? Him getting an inflated salary here (let’s say 75k plus a week) or a club paying 40-50m to sign him and giving him a Premier League salary?

Id say the first option. It’s mutually beneficial especially if he gets guaranteed starts elsewhere again next year.
