Top 5 south American players excluding Maradona, Messi and Pele

2 time World Cup winner with Brazil Garrincha?

I might have to drop someone for Diego Forlan.

Another one of my all time favorites.

Garrincha played for the Brazilian national team, the greatest Brazilian player before Pele hit the scene.

It shows how Brazil teams of yester year had so much talent compared to this generation. It’s no wonder they won the World Cup as many times as they have.

In black and white and grainy pictures all black people look the same

It’s a list of players that have left the biggest mark on me and also personal preference. Can’t comment on players like Socrates, Zico, Passarella etc.

Oops. My :face_vomiting: and my  are too close together on my “recently used”

Ronaldo for me transcends the Messi/Ronaldo debate we all had during the 2010s. He would have eaten them alive. His career, as successful as it was, still feels shockingly incomplete for me. I can’t explain why. He won basically everything (except MLS Cup) but I always think of him as (a) the GOAT in my lifetime and (b) a what if player.

Di Stefano wasn’t Brazilian, was born in Argentina and played for them, Colombia and Spain. Different rules in those days I suppose.

What a weird stat. Has anyone ever played for more than three NTs?

Maybe some guys from the Balkans?

Haha I thought so. Just wanted to clarify because I couldnt see how you’d dislike R9.
