Thomas Partey

lol so basically most players pre-wenger. Back in the day players were getting smashed like everyday, eating whatever they wanted down the pub, smoking, doing coke, gambling it up etc… :joy::rofl:

It would be interesting to see what Ceballos can do in the more advanced midfield role Saka had yesterday. But I doubt Arteta is going to use him there indeed.

Ironically I think he may be closer to Keane than Vieira, minus the leg breakers (for now?)

Yeah Thought that. Don’t think he’s as much as a game breaker as Paddy more of a beating heart and conduit for starting and controlling movement of midfield.

Probably not injured at all. Just already sick of this shit.

Reading that he’s still out injured. Gone a bit under the radar but it’s been over a month now?

Guy has already put down tools lol

He looked a talent in the 2mins we’ve seen of him, so it wouldn’t shock me if he plays 17 games over a 3 year period.

He’s been playing in a physically demanding system for years with no problems so it makes total sense his body would start to break down once the Arsenal medical staff get their hands on him. We’re basically the reverse Milan Lab.

Potentially out until 2021, missing the congested Xmas period.

Lol you just can’t make this shit up, gonna be a pretty expensive signing for an injury prone player…

Xhaka contract extension and armband incoming then.

Just so Arsenal that you have to laugh at it or it make you cry lol, a player who didn’t pick up a injury during his time in Spain. Picks one up that is keeping him out for the Christmas and New Year period once he joins Arsenal. Just sums us up.

Top player, will make a difference but going to give his best years away to rebuilding job. Hope he enjoys his time here cause he’s going to be seen many lean years here.

That’s really bad. It means more Xhaka-Dani midfield combos.

I guess on the plus side, he won’t have to bother learning Arteta’s system at all. By the time he comes back we’ll probably have Per as caretaker.

I don’t see anybody other than Darren reporting this as a six week injury. But that would be puke inducing if true.

Could have stayed and won a La Liga + played deep into the CL under El Cholo but alas he signed up for this.

Hopefully the financial side of things keeps him from being overly bitter.

I wouldn’t worry. I’m sure he could engineer a move to Inter in a year or two when we’re still putzing around in 13th with Arteta trying out his new formation of Willian and Aubameyang as false full backs.

So Mari and Partey will be like new signings when/if they every play for us again, yay.

It’s like someone has cast a Voodoo spell on this club and injuries. Seriously though, this should be looked into cause it’s not funny anymore. We buy players who have been playing for years without injury issues and they crumble the moment we get our hands on them. The state of this club
