Thomas Partey

What a player. Roy Keane just compared him to Vieira as well and wishes United had him.

Love having players that other fans are jealous of again.

World class.

I hope Arteta never plays him as the holding midfielder again.

Elneny next to him is not ideal, but I suppose in anti-football games it could work.

Should still do something in the next window.

Who is the ideal partner for him out of the ones we have?

Elnenny is probably the best fit, but Ceballos maybe?

Partey is a Wenger esque signing.

Calm on the ball, great technique,no fuss, moves game forward.

Brilliant from Mikel to get him.

Quickly becoming one of my favourite Arsenal players. Always feel confident when he has got the ball.

Yes buy a replacement for Lacazette

Would settle for just selling him so Arteta can’t play him at CF.

Addition by subtraction, I like it.

I was told there would be no math. That’s why I became a lawyer.

You can trust me to bring math into it, as I work in accounting

Ah you’re one of those people. My MIL is an accountant. I spent exactly five minutes in an tax law course. On the inside of the textbook there was the enormous fold out chart. The professor introduced himself and then asked us to open the chart. I took one look at the size of the chart and all the tiny print, calmly folded the chart, closed my book, packed up and walked out. My father was distinctly unimpressed when I told him. He really wanted me to be an accountant or tax lawyer.

Sounds like you have a maths phobia

Maybe more of an intolerance, like some people have with dairy. I can handle it in small quantities but a lot will make me feel sick and could result in shitting myself.

I genuinely think Maths phobia is a thing. People that have it could be far far better at Maths but they have a mental block.

You’re definitely right. Had a pretty scary math teacher in third grade (so I was maybe 7 or 8), who was basically The Trunchbull from the book Matilda (iykyk). Kinda put me off math. And I was a really sensitive kid so getting called out for being wrong about something in class was like the end of the world.

@JakeyBoy Who would you rather have in midfield? Butcher or Partey. Can only pick one.
