Thomas Partey

Custody officers, who are independent of investigations, will be able to authorise the first period of pre-charge bail to a period of three months in standard police cases. Further extensions in these cases will require approval from an officer of the rank of Inspector or above to six months, and a Superintendent or above will need to authorise any extension to nine months. Judicial approval will then be sought to extend beyond nine months.

Rather normal I would have thought, pretty much what I was expecting.

Best midfielder in the PL atm and probably the world.
Easy MOTM, some of those passes were inch perfect.

That first half performance was shocking at times. He’s still not even the best in the PL that honour belongs to Rodri in his role but Partey is a world class player no doubt.

His second half performance was exactly what we needed from him.

Yeah, if it wasn’t for that City performance I would say this was his best performance in an Arsenal shirt. What a player!

He was, once again, immense. Especially in the second half. Scary how important he is to us, knowing he can be out for three weeks at any moment.

Up and down today I felt, but we are a different team with him in it. Please stay fit and we get Champions League football guaranteed.

Was in that midfield by himself at times, and still held the line.

First half was average.

2nd half he fucking destroyed them and was sublime, constantly picked the right passes and new when to release the ball.

Partey also won back the possession plenty of times in the second half.

Very intense, aggressive, physical and ultimately penetrating performance from him today.

Get Ruben Neves in next summer.

Why would we want that cunt who won’t even celebrate a goal?

Like for the link, but I’m sure there are better options out there than Neves.

Not awful, but not the best and unlikely to be good value

I wasn’t a big fan of him before but he’s stepped up big time the past year or so, for both Wolves and Portugal. He’s in the best shape of his life too and still very young. His contract is expiring in 2024 and the way Wolves are going I can’t see him renewing his deal.

No brainer for me.
